Hi,
I found this large nodule at Yaxley in Peterborough and it seems to have an awfully lot going on with it, that I can’t quite work out.
The obvious ammo seems to be overlaid with a much larger eroded ammo, but I’m not too sure. Hopefully the pics explain this a bit more. What do you reckon? Looks like the end part of the whorl is eroded, but I think it might prep out well, al least the centre part

Hi,
The matrix is pretty soft and does seem to come away nicely, I’m in the process of sorting out some proper prep gear at the moment, so I think I will keep this until I’ve had a bit of practise. Look forward to seeing exactly what’s in there!
