Dirty Pete
It's an old overgrown and sadly neglected SSSI. I imagine it was quite productive years ago.
The quarry face is impressive but unfortunately the spoil tips have grassed over....
Cheers
Pete.

Was poking around an old quarry NE of Ledbury (Hereforshire) and was ridiculously lucky and
found this jammed amongst tree roots. Quarry exposes Silurian Wenlock limestone/Lower Elton beds.

Not used to finding trilobites round these parts....Is there enough of it to get an ID???
Thanks for looking
Pete.

Lucky you! :)

Is it a private quarry? Just asking as it's very close to my parents ;)
