thanks..a section of cliff had fallen and uncovered a big bone bed so came home with 2 big bags o bones aswell(my neighbours must think im well dodgy)

thanks everyone..suprised me as wasnt expecting to spot anything as just like to walk along by the cliffs..first thing i saw there was a big mammoth bone that i thought was a tree root! theres the huge end of one showing now but unfortunately its crumbling.

If you have found articulated mammoth remains, it might well be worth notifying a museum, there could be more of it in there, could be an important specimen,
