Made my first visit to maylandsea today following a very high tide. I picked up a handful of small nodules with traces of lobster but nothing really worth keeping. I have collected some shingle to swivel but there wasn't even much of that around today, just mud, mud, mud! I must say I came away
really disappointed and it will be some time before I make the journey there again.

Sorry you had a disappointing day and thanks for sharing that conditions aren't ideal. Hopefully you'll find something in the shingle; look really closely as you can get some lovely stuff that's really small including foraminifera. Good luck.
