I was just wondering in which formations people have found Mesozoic examples of these in the UK?

Generally the nice ridged bar teeth or barbed stingers are the likeliest items to be preserved - they are relatively common in later deposits but seem to be missing in most of our Mesozoic deposits?

I have personally only found one in the Blisworth limestone which is Jurassic/Bathonian  and a shallow water/lagoonal facie.

Are they found in the oolite on the Dorset coast?

Regards,

Ryan
