Hi folks,

These pics show a find from a hillside in Norwich's Bowthorpe/Ringland Hills area. I understand the hills are a glacial terminal moraine. Any thoughts on what the item is and any suggestions about origins will be gratefully received.

It is a fossil sponge preserved in flint originally from the chalk, late cretaceous period c 70 million years old.
