Hiya. So found the below while going for a walk. Definitely looks like an animal track of some sort but being a punter I couldn't say for sure. Any help? Hello and welcome to the forum. I have looked up the geology of the area and it's all marine deposits, so a mammal print is out of the questiion unless it has be transported a very long way, but it doesn't look like a fossil to me. It looks like it may been a sandstone whiich has formed round pebbles which have eroded away leaving the dents.

Really? I did think it surprising as it would obviously be a large animal. Its just so defined. The 'claws' have grooves in the same place etc. Oh well! It's still pretty cool
