I know these aren't the most spectacular fossils on here but I bet they're the oldest !
1.2Ga stromatolites from Enard Bay NW Scotland.

Liking the fossil stromatolites...

I posted a photo or two of 0.8Ga stromatolitic limestones from North Wales a long while back, and a 0.8Ga aged trace fossil it seems
