Hi

Went to Port Mulgrave and Ravenscar yesterday and although I had a fantastic day out didn't come away with anything special, or that's what I thought. At Port Mulgrave the sand was covering everything and I only picked up 6 nodules that looked promising, one that I thought had the worn edge of a Hilda showing. When I took it to the shed today and to my surprise and joy, it turned out to be a 65mm Phylloceras, "my first ever complete one" (apart from the worn edge).

Hope you like.

Thanks for looking

Nice one! You don't get them so often there.
Best wishes from the Lake of Constance. Roger.
