Hi.
Found this amongst carboniferous plant remains at Orgreave, Sheffield. I know I'm probably barking up the wrong cycad, but could it be an insect?

Sorry - plant debris, I can't see any evidence of an nsect.

Thanks. I assumed it was plant, but have found nothing else like it amongst the others I have from Orgreave.

It looks Like a worn plant remain but I'm not 100% sure.
