Hi and welcome

If you can say the location where it was found and also include a scale such as a ruler in your photo. If possible take a close up of both sides.

At the moment I do not see a fossil.

Sorry Colin, couldn't resist a shot in the dark but the calcic linings to the borings are a bit of a give away. Mummy teredo lived in the big hole presumably.

You are of course correct, assuming it's from the Sheppey area - I had a great block of wood from there.
