Hi

I’ve a large Ichthyosaur vertebrae ,collected around Whitby area , which I am looking to prep...or wondering whether it is better to leave it as it is. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks

Prepping is all about the individual rock, the equipment you have available and experience.

I have a Ken Mannion TT pen with about  2 years worth of limited experience, I’m just not sure if I will do more harm than good having a go at this vert. It might be a candidate for future professional prepping. I just wondered if I’m making the right decision or whether it might be within my capability.

I really can't say much more except go easy, take your time and do the best you can! When you are satisfied.
