Bobo the bear
I am thinking of having this one proffesionally prepped if it is as I think a Haugia variabilis.
First one in my collection whatever it is. When I first saw it I thought it was a Harpoceras but it is far too thin.

Hi, just thought I'd let you know. I got the ammonite prepared and it's on it's way back to me...They say it is an Eparietites probably impudens and not Haugia after all.
I will post a picture when I get it back next week.

This is it cleaned up! Unfortunately the centre was pyritised
Difference in opinion between species. Haugia or Eparitites. Anyone know for sure....I don't have either in my collection
