Hi and welcome to the forum. It's a nautilus, always a nice find. 
Roughly where is it from? - perhaps a Jurassic limestone but they didn't change very much down geological time.

Hi there thanks it's from north Cornwall coast a place called millook not something I would want to keep hold of unless it's gonna be worth a few bob any ideas what I can do with it

Very very unlikley to be from cornwall, it looks exactly like the nautilus Cenoceras from the Inferior Oolite of Dorset
