Bobo the bear
Hi all, Was just walking this week along Saltwick beach (north towards Whitby) and as you do, always have my head down. In space of 20 yards found these small bivalves...first one was sticking out of a lump of shale. All about same size as a 1p piece. Must have hit a bivalve bed...lol.
Any ideas on Identification would be great  I thought maybe Pholadomya?

As FossilMan72 says, Dacromya, which used to be called Nuculana and that's how I still think of it!
