       This small rock came out of a sandstone quarry near Elgin, Moray.  Normally Triassic aeolian sandstones but, rarely, there are signs of water come to light.  I can't make out if this is fossilised algal mat material ?  There seems to be a sense of water flow to the right.  Thanks !

I think that's just you Colin, i could and can still see the photo!

I haven't got anything to say about it though as i honestly don't know what fossilized algae looks like.. I only see a rock with some striations on it! 😆
