I’m looking to go to Bracklesham Bay soon and was looking for tips on finding shark teeth, any help would be appreciated and of course any tips from your previous trips would be helpful, thanks :)

Look in any little scours or streamlets crossing the beach - that's where I found teeth on my one visit. I found more as the day wore on, so I guess it's a question of getting your eye in. But you should find some. I found most by turning left (east) when I hit the beach, but I don't know if that's typical or not.

You should also find Nummulites (a foram) and the bivalves Venericor and Ostrea.

I suggest you follow the tide as it goes out and the lower the tide the better. It;s a good idea to look at the locations page for the site.

I’ve been before and found plenty of Nummulites, Turitilla and Bivalves but no Teeth, thanks for the tips :)
