So I posted lots of images of things I found. I was told they were just random valueless stones.



I suppose the same with this no doubt.

I thought it was s fossil of a foot bone perhaps. But I’m no expert so will listen to what I have been told

And I thought it was bone under the UV light.

Not bone I'm afraid! Perhaps a bit of limestone ... but not a fossil.

Have a google about for the word fossil and some place names near you - that should turn up locations where you stand a chance of finding fossils (though it's never guaranteed!).

Hi Stef.

Sorry, but flint is notorious for pseudo fossils. You may have trace fossils, but I can't see much evidence from the pictures. The people of this forum have always seen me right.
