finds from the ness....urchin half buried(please be whole)wed1_029.JPG and it was,sternotaxis-wed1_033.JPG ...micraster-wed1_013.JPG ..another micraster-wed1_020.JPG ...underneath of an urchin(very worn when i turned it over)wed1_015.JPG ...crushed and mangled urchin...wed1_045.JPG ..urchin tubercle-wed1_047.JPG ...bryozoan?-wed1_050.JPG ..coral or sponge?-wed1_049.JPG ..tiny brachnipod-wed1_048.JPG ....oh and huge cmmotion amongst shoal of big bass in the shallows,thought it was a seal until it snatched a fish and lay on its back eating it...a sea otter in the stour estuary!

Sometimes when the tides are dodgy I go to Walton early in the morning, often it is better because there are not many people so the beach is all mine!

thanks dave it was the last one i found at the end of the beach where you dont normally find anything and yeah theres alot of birdlife there too...hi fossilfanatic..i prefer early morning cos its a really long walk and would have been home too late if i waited for afternoon tide ...cheers jim,urchins are my faves!
