In regards to my previous entry regarding the possible meteorite.  Please study the attached photo.

Hi, I am pretty certain that this is NOT a meteriorite, rather an ironstone weather worn nodule. The chemcal properties I believe are very specific and always metalic. I suggest you Gppgle 'meteorite id and contact your local museum.

I agree.  I found a website where you can perform certain tests.  My specimen failed the most important test: magnetism.  Oh well.  It's back to the garden for this rock.  I guess I'll stick to fossils.
